• Total CDCSD website and branding transformation by www.theCRStudio.com.
• Dr. Sherry Mueller, Director of National Council for International Visitors came to San Diego for our 30th year celebration
• Rolf Haas named CDCSD Citizen Diplomat of the Year
• Completed our 5th and 6th three-week Community Connections programs
• Advocacy meetings with congressional representations locally and in Washington, DC
• Spread our word via speaking engagements with Kiwanis, Rotary, and Optimists
• Staff set up IRA retirement plans
• Executive Director, Cath DeStefano was appointed to chair the San Diego International Affairs Board
• Secured a grant from the City of San Diego for a record high amount of $53,000
• CDCSD Business Membership Campaign developed and in early stages of launching
• Held eight events for members
• Connected High Tech High International with IVLP delegations
• Coached 17 interns from UCSD (IRPS), USD, SDSU (ISCOR)
• Launched our young professional group, San Diego Internationalists
• Entered our organization into the world of social networking
• Multiple lives were changed, opinions of Americans were shifted, and overall international relations with the world were improved
